The farm SA.P.A.R., owned by Boni, is a functional example
of agricultural/industrial production of an OGM Free working process
within the Italian zootechnics.
The farm is in the Parmesan countryside, where it is guaranteed the cultivation of forage suitable to Parmigiano Reggiano manufacturing.
The farm, not far from the village of Torrile, covers an area of 350 hectares and includes cowsheds with 1200 Friesian cows. Our cows are fed only on local and vegetal forage; neither fermented forages nor additives are allowed.
A veterinarian and a nutritionist are always in the farm and collaborate with the staff; this good cooperation guarantees a continuous running improvement.
